City of Cocoa Water Tower

Structural Rehabilitation
Cocoa, Florida

-

This project was completed for the City’s 1.5 MG Elevated Storage Tank.  The structural rehabilitation was completed in 2016.  The scope of work included fabrication, construction, tuning, inspecting and repairs to the steel elevated water storage tank reinforcement rods.  All temporary work, including welding and attachments to the existing structure were repaired to original condition.

This water tank was awarded Tank of the Year in 2015 by Tnemec Co., Inc., a Kansas City based company.  The tank was built in 1957, and is used to maintain constant pressure in the City of Cocoa water distribution system, which supplies over 22-million gallons of drinking water to Central Brevard County daily.
